Marvell’s 1.5GHz, Triple Core ARM Processor Can Handle 140 Hours of Music on One Charge

The smartphone guts race just got a bit more interesting—dark horse Marvell has just outed the first ever 1.5GHz ARM tri-core mobile processor. The Armada 628 pairs two high-performance cores with one optimized for low-power. Take that, Snapdragon.
The Armada 628 also supports 1080p 3D video, USB 3.0, and DDR3 memory, and can project images to two LCD displays at the same time.

Energizer’s New Inductive Charger Is the First To Use the Qi Standard

Inductive chargers have been kicking around for a while now, but Energizer’s new charging platter is the first to utilize Qi technology—the new universal standard for inductive charging. That’s one small step closer to total freedom from cables.
Qi, which was recently approved as the inductive standard by the Wireless Power Consortium, will allow any Qi-equipped gadget that requires less than 5 Watts to power up on any Qi charging surface.
